So Untimely...

She looks and feels her rough hands. The lines and creases are visible even in the moonlight. They tell a thousand stories of what kind of life she goes through. If only life is so kind!

She touches her face. So supple but in no time soon, will it tell another thousand stories with all the tell-tale lines?  Another thousand stories, so untimely?

  3. Maybe the rough skin, and that lines and creases which can tell myriad of stories about the owner's life belong only to a reality that is just skin deep.

Deeper down all that visible presence, may exists an unfathomable beauty, which we are not too keen to acknowledge.

A very deep and beautiful tale you share with us BB.

    Thank you!!

  8. Balqis..wow..I was moved maybe because I have seen myself on every word you have written..I am that woman..

But regardless of those rough lines on her hands..those same hands have touched someone's life..those hands have wept thousands of tears..those same lines have been a Witness to Every Journey She has Conquered and Survived..

I love the pix sis..her eyes even with those tears shows Hope..thank you so much for this post sis :)

  9. Sie, it's really a very "expensive" experience. Those who have been through such stage will definitely know what it's like. Thanks for your insights. :)

  11. We only can see the roughness, lines and wrinkle and we might can hear the story. But I don't think we can really imagine what she..herself has been through.

This is a good expression Balqis. Love each and every word of it.
