Mesmerized

glitters in moonshine
a cascading waterfall
the heart, mesmerized

Tomorrow Will Come

Over the horizon, there it goes
Leaving trails of golden rays
Scattered in the evening sky
I let my heart follow its direction
To find out what it’s doing next
At the other side of the horizon
When it’s a brand new day
And life begins again…

Bee-autifull

In the stillness of a dewy morning, I hardly feel the cold because I can see a beam of light rising from behind the mountains.  The dew are soft droplets that hydrate my skin and which will later evaporate giving way to a sunny bright day!

I wish then to walk in a garden of beautiful yellow flowers that sparkle in my eyes. Bees waggle as a sign there is plentiful of nectar near by. The lovely birds hum so nicely in a melody one of its kind and I would hum along and feel the real beauty of being able to hear and enjoy what lies in the vast landscape in front of my very own eyes. The wonders of nature never fail to amaze me and make me so speechless.

I hear my name in the whispers of the wind. They say words so gentle to my ears and touch my heart deeply. Would anyone else treat me the way they do without having to hurt me so that another day is beautiful as yesterday? What lies ahead, I can't see but what lies right in front of my eyes is a promising one for a day so joyful.

Oh! Those beautiful butterflies in colors so vibrant and eye-catching; how they dance so gracefully, taking some little rest on fresh green lush. I set my heart free, as free as they are flying in open spaces of full freedom. I would love to be one of them; to have turquoise polka dots on my wings, curly proboscises in pink gloss,  beautiful almond-shaped brown eyes and to fly freely from one beautiful flower to another.

I am lost in the blissful atmosphere. Is this heaven?  I can breath freely the fresh air that boosts my spirit to kick  off the day energetically!

This is about life and another day for a jungle bee from the heart of Borneo.

Have a bee-autifull day!

Poem Inspiration : I'll Paint You A Rainbow

I'll Paint You A Rainbow

Grace E. Easley

I'll paint you a rainbow to hang on the wall,
to brighten your heart when the gray shadows fall,
On the canvas of joy outlasting the years,
with a soft brush of sweetness to dry all your tears.
I'll paint you a rainbow with colors of smiles
That glow with sincerity over the miles.
On a palette of words I will tenderly blend
Tones in treasures of sunlight and wind.

I'll paint the rainbow that reaches so wide,
Your sighs and your sorrows will vanish inside,
And deep in the center of each different hue,
A memory fashioned especially for you.
So lift up your eyes, for suspended above,
A rainbow designed by the fingers of love...

I choose the above poem by Grace E. Easly as a poem inspiration because of the inspirational lines in it. I am truly inspired and would love others to paint me a rainbow, too, when I am down in the gloom. Reading through the lines, each one touches my heart and I just love it.

My appreciation and credit go to Grace F. Easly  for this heart-touching poem. As we are allowed to share, so this is my pick which I would love to share with all of you. Please, check out this site for more inspirational poems that can perk up your day.

Tears In The Rain

My dear friend, Elen Lackner of  Nacionalidad-uruguaya, residente en-Buenos Aires, Argentina had honored me by creating this beautiful video and reciting my poem, Tears In The Rain, which I posted here on Friday June 15th 2012. Elen gave me such a very pleasant surprise and I just can't thank her enough for her kindness and generosity  for this much appreciated video and poem recital. This is for the first time ever someone did such a great favor to me and I am so proud of Elen for presenting me something  which I myself couldn't do.

Elen is such a great woman, being a Profesora de música, she could play piano well. Please, feel free to check out her blogs *Videos de Elen Lackner* and Elen Lackner-poemas de amor-piano. You will find her great creativity there.

To my dear Elen, words aren't enough to show my gratitude towards you. You know how much I love your work and hearing your voice makes me feel so close to you. We are separated thousand of miles apart but the beauty of friendship had united us. From the tropical island of Borneo to Argentina, I send you my heart. I wish to say thank you so much right from the bottom of my heart.

O Flower of Purity, Why are you wilting in the showering  rain
when you should be so fresh and pleases the eyes of the beholder?
The sweetness of the smiles between two hearts had gone
in its place lies the  unseen tears in the rain, the soul battered badly
Flower of Purity, loving thoughts for you are for eternity
and engraved in the deepest fold of the heart, warming it from coldness
Your sweet scent will linger in the air,  a solace to a weeping heart.

Haiku Theme : Night

These Haiku trio are written on impromptu thoughts as I sit here trying to write something else but ended up in Haiku writing. It's past midnight and quiet in the residential area where I stay. Usually, I hear the sounds of dogs barking but not tonight. It's quite a cold night because it was drizzling earlier and now only a very faint sound of  some last drops of the rain pat the roof so gently; almost unheard.  The sounds of crickets are in a distance. I look at the sky from the verandah of my room and there are little stars appearing from their hiding places while the moon is still hiding behind a thin curtain of clouds.

i
in the quietness
dreams are made, dreams of today
it was yesterday

ii
starring at the sky
the stars smile, the moon dances
the pain leaves the heart

iii
the sounds of crickets
lullaby a restless heart
on a restless night

**I am from Sarawak,  one of the east states of Malaysia, which is also known as "Land of The Hornbill".

Sarawak is on Borneo island and it is the largest state in Malaysia. We have the oldest rainforests here and nature is always very close to our hearts.

Love's Renewal

For years I've wandered aimlessly through the midst of the shadows trying to elude the dark.

In spite of my stupendous efforts, I still felt melancholy in my heart, for I was all alone.

Yet, darkness is not always so dark when our imagination seeks the light of hope – a light that has been trying to find its sight through such darkened nights.

This darkness becomes me, for I am but the light of our shadow that quivers now, as I yearn for a flight towards the dream, away from the claws of fear.

So I rise, wearing this half-darkness, half-light, like priceless sapphires.

Yea, I rise, rise towards my destiny until what my heart craves seems so near.

I rise, flying high 'till I touch the sky, conquering an eternal bliss.

The bliss I feel…ah…it transports me into a world so enchanting and suddenly I am set free.

This is the Eden of our love, which I shall cherish and safeguard forever.

The fragrance of eternal flowers of love now permeate my fluttering heart…I feel beautiful...I am alive.

Yes! The spirit of love has descended upon my heart…I am renewed again.

Behold! The hand of love has touched my soul…indeed, I am reborn.

Light And Easy

no rush, no hurry
soak up the September's air
light, easy Sunday

**This Haiku is written based on a random thought on Sunday morning as I sit down here in my room with no urgency to go anywhere yet. It's almost 10.00 a.m. but I haven't taken my breakfast!

I'm going to have a light and easy Sunday and take a load off  before facing tomorrow, Monday, a working day.

To friends and visitors of this blog, I wish you all a great weekend!

Making Today Great

a beautiful and grateful feeling in my heart
greeted by early birds, a really nice start
their songs so sweet, what a natural art
lush of green are where they never part

If I were a bird with wings spread apart
I'd sing a song that remains in one's heart
sweet and beautiful like sounds of the harp
make the day great with coffee in the cup
