For a moment, I thought I would let all my tears flow
But life teaches me to survive the pain and make me strong
Like the tide, high and low, with all the trashes it brings along
I discard each and one, and let my cheeks again a-glow

Recalling The Moment

my 

dreams

seem  real

everything so vividly

pictured here, in my mind  

I could feel it , its beauty embraces me

my heart flutters and sends a gush of  excitement to my whole being

I wish  to be in these dreams forever, for they are mesmerizing and fulfilling my soul with the eternal beauty of paradise

but alas, some dreams  remain as dreams floating freely among dots of clouds 

without any special haven to land on to

slowly falling apart from reality

dispersing very faintly

into nowhere

leaving

me

Undying Hope

In the stillness of the night

there were me, the moon and stars

and we were all speechless

looking at each other
losing our thoughts in a maze
of uncertainty

still, waiting for new rays of another day

with the hope of not losing our dreams dispersed 
everywhere

Another Rainy Day

Another rainy day
hot coffee on the tray
the aroma fills up the cold air
shooing away the grey

I smile just like on other days
reminiscing the sweet  memories
sharing coffee and butter cookies
as if there was no yesterday

Now, I sip slowly the coffee
and take a bite of the cookie
alone am I, or is it only me
No, I still have the coffee

And I start to sing softly...

"Rain, rain, go away,
Come again another day.
Rain, rain, go away,
Let the sun reveals its rays."

I paint my day
with vibrant colours
forgetting the grey
is all that matters

I paint my night
with stars and moonshine
keeping whole night bright
leaving gloominess behind

In Between Us

in between us

there are seas

I couldn't swim across

but the bridge of friendship

keeps us close

in between us

time and seasons change

nevertheless we are the same

travelling abreast in time

singing the same rhymes

in between us

our thoughts sometimes differ

yet each day we understand better

of who you and I are

 the bond of friendship grows stronger

Speechless

when you're speechless
I'm speechless
who could blame it
breeze stops blowing
we feel the heat
but who would complain
trees standing still
like toy soldiers
no songs of birds
they lose their tunes
all seem void
until an ice-breaking
bringing back life
and sparkles in the eyes
conveying silent words
make us more speechless
how that could happen
I see me in your eyes
you see you in my eyes
does it really mirror
what lies deep within
that words could not explain
we remain speechless

This is nothing more than just a rambling and written based on my imagination. Actually, I was looking at my drafts which to date accumulate to 149 posts, either a quarterly done, half done, almost done or still a long way to reach the finishing line. This is among the ones I tried to complete and I think I've done it though deserve no credit. May be other posts will remain as drafts if words can't find their ways into them. Better, blame be on me!

Denying Marks Of Time

behind patted powder
lies nicely those wrinkles
marks of the past
yet wisdom keeps growing
fresh and supple
ironing out the wrinkles

on a breezy evening
rustles of leaves are whispers
from a whispering tree

only known by me

I have company
they are all around here

A Run For Life

I run as fast as a deer

but I stumble and fall into fear

I walk in a steady stride

end up wobbling without a might

I quicken my pace in a haste

to reach the light though I'm in daze

It's slowly going away from me

I struggle hard to be freed

And reach that light I need most

Don't leave me here in a frost

Moving On

When it rains today, I am thinking of the sunny yesterday,
When it rained yesterday, I was thinking of the sunny today,
When everything seems bleak in a canopy of darkness above me,
I am thinking of the warm and cheery day which will be,
Giving me the strength to move on a lighted path to explore,
Guiding me from stepping on the poisonous thorns I stepped before,
Life is a dream, life is a reality, life is an adventure, 
Lessons of yesterday are the shields for today, to be braver.

Benign Welcome

A feeling awakes and up goes the smile

Facing another grinding day of the world

Pleasant thoughts easily present making

A day as awesome as can be, though

Ugly sides of it tearing apart the beauty

Putting a gap in between light and darkness

In a frantic effort, to grasp that light of hope

Darkness keeps pulling the beautiful feeling

into that dark abyss, most feared for no return

Hearts will grieve and bleed sorrowfully

But…….

The air is still a plentiful to keep surviving

Against all odds and up goes the smile again

So, breathe in the air gleefully and walk happily

Among the field of yellow, warm lovely flowers

The sweet scent a solace to a lonely heart

The warm sun rays an antidote to a cold feeling

The dance of birds and butterflies flutter a heart

Awaking in another zone of new beginning

A benign welcome undiscovered before

This is life in a beautiful world, one and only

Tears In The Rain

My dear friend, Elen Lackner of  Nacionalidad-uruguaya, residente en-Buenos Aires, Argentina had honored me by creating this beautiful video and reciting my poem, Tears In The Rain, which I posted here on Friday June 15th 2012. Elen gave me such a very pleasant surprise and I just can't thank her enough for her kindness and generosity  for this much appreciated video and poem recital. This is for the first time ever someone did such a great favor to me and I am so proud of Elen for presenting me something  which I myself couldn't do.

Elen is such a great woman, being a Profesora de música, she could play piano well. Please, feel free to check out her blogs *Videos de Elen Lackner* and Elen Lackner-poemas de amor-piano. You will find her great creativity there.

To my dear Elen, words aren't enough to show my gratitude towards you. You know how much I love your work and hearing your voice makes me feel so close to you. We are separated thousand of miles apart but the beauty of friendship had united us. From the tropical island of Borneo to Argentina, I send you my heart. I wish to say thank you so much right from the bottom of my heart.

O Flower of Purity, Why are you wilting in the showering  rain

when you should be so fresh and pleases the eyes of the beholder?

The sweetness of the smiles between two hearts had gone

in its place lies the  unseen tears in the rain, the soul battered badly

Flower of Purity, loving thoughts for you are for eternity

and engraved in the deepest fold of the heart, warming it from coldness

Your sweet scent will linger in the air,  a solace to a weeping heart.
