For a moment, I thought I would let all my tears flow
But life teaches me to survive the pain and make me strong
Like the tide, high and low, with all the trashes it brings along
I discard each and one, and let my cheeks again a-glow

there were me, the moon and stars

and we were all speechless

looking at each other
losing our thoughts in a maze
of uncertainty

still, waiting for new rays of another day

with the hope of not losing our dreams dispersed

The answers I could not find

Not even in the wind that passes by

And the stream remains silent

I still have to wait and try

As my eyes scan the sky

Hoping to see a spot or two

To my dismay, it's nothing but the blue 

My heart suddenly goes dry

The answers I could not find

or have you gone with it or are you near-by?

Even like a speck of dust 

in the vastness of uncertainty

The answers I have yet to find

After a Hiatus

And here I'm alone

between these four walls

recollecting lost ideas

sorting out jumbled words

for I have lost my composure

and my grasp on what letters could do

many times I feel

passion dwells in my heart

creativity lies in my mind

writing is in my dream

yet, when the dry wind blows

all gone, even the tiniest of ideas

leaving a dream remains a dream

And today, still feeling the emptiness

but trying to throw pebbles of thoughts

into the pond of creativity

no ripples.....

stagnant in the shallowness of ideas

I look at the sky,

I see the sun smiling.

My mind flies to you

in a distant land.

If the sky could mirror

what our days are like.

It would indeed be a pleasure

knowing what our chores are.

It has been awhile

but I haven’t disappeared,

not even dispersed among

the vapours that form the clouds,

not even gone among the wind

that blow towards the mountain.

This place I miss much,

a place that connects you and I,

and I am still here

waiting…

That Was The Day

Saw them glittering like gold

as they gently fell

Heard the sweet sound of each one

just like jingling bells

Beautiful melody rang in the air

filled with sweetness and full of flair

Courageous they were for the final destiny

The day to leave but full of glory

I looked for that gold

Which I wanted to hold

But t’was a story told

On the last day of Fall

each day a flower blooms,
the world becomes beautiful,
birds sing, butterflies dance,
buzzing bees tell honey is near-by,
even in the swift flow of the stream,
there are songs so sentimental,
only the one listening with the heart,
will feel the beauty of its flow,
and will know what life's secret is.

If They Could Recall

In the pin drop silence of the night, sudden sounds of rain pouring,

at first just in little forms, I wanted to count them one by one

when the sounds became so beautiful -

like tiny drums' rolls the minute little droplets burst one after another upon touching the roof surface,

then they glided down the gutter and gathered as a small lively pool at the end of the road.

I started shivering when the coldness cloaked around, 

did the droplets feel what I felt,

 did they ever think the moment when the sun would drink them up, leaving no traces at all, 

just a remembrance of where and when -

would they be shivering?

Time, how it moves on with no u-turns,
It teaches us to face the bumps and potholes of life,
It would be nice leaving those gruelling moments behind,
Closed in the history of time, now open for that light -
which isn't too far away and will be reached at some time.
Time moves on and on, let's follow it and enjoy the ride!

Unseen

In the darkness of the darkest night, there are stars twinkling behind thick clouds.
In the brightness of a sunny day, stars are there, camouflaging themselves in the rays
In the deepest depth of the biggest ocean, precious pearls hide from prying eyes.
In the farthest part of the earth, waiting to be discovered are priceless diamonds.

There is a  passion to weave words

into patterns of beauty,

Turning each one as charming as could be

and so precise like a diamond-cut,

Words woven in unique patterns,

A beauty that will last in the eyes,

Even more lasting in the heart,

That won't fade in the seasons of time,

Becomes timeless through ages and ages.
