Please, surf for Haiku and read what it's all about. From my findings, some say it is written in 3 lines of 5-7-5 syllables. But others say it's not necessarily be so. Some Haiku poems I read are written in just a few words. I like its simplicity.
When you look at some of my Haiku, I don't stay in the 5-7-5 syllables only. Sometimes, it's more or it's less. I suggest you go to Haiku sites to get more infos about it.
yes Balqis thanks for the info. i thought it should be 5-7-5 that's how i'm working on now. that's why when i read yours i get confused and now i get it.
but i think i shall stick to 5-7-5 cos it's more challenging. hihi
You're welcome! Actually, most of my Haikus are in the 5-7-5 syllables. But sometimes, it's quite difficult to get the exact 5-7-5. To clear my doubts, I looked for related sites and got some answers.
It's good to try writing some poetic lines. Have fun! :)
sometimes we have no choice but to accept life and just "let it be"..learning to deal with the pain..waiting and holding on until all goes in it's right place ;)
This Haiku is excellent Balqis so goes with the pix ;)
I love this my friend... Is this about resisting obstacle in life? Just like sailing in the waves ? I am trying to understand the meaning as I know this is important, I am a risk taker person and I open resist with the constraints... I hope I digest this better ... Have a great day my friend :)
