Time, how it moves on with no u-turns,
It teaches us to face the bumps and potholes of life,
It would be nice leaving those gruelling moments behind,
Closed in the history of time, now open for that light -
which isn't too far away and will be reached at some time.
Time moves on and on, let's follow it and enjoy the ride!

So true. Time moves on and on..
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to see an early bird. Actually, it's early morning here. Thank you, Dana, for stopping by. It's always nice seeing you and reading your comments. :)
DeleteHow I wish there are U turns...
ReplyDeletebut...
I guess there'll be chaos...
Yes, it would be best to move on and learn the lessons from the past.
Great thoughts to think about, Balqis. Very nice.
Ric, u-turns would be good if we could repair the damage of the past. Anyway, most times it could not be undone but do not lose hope, we could learn from it and improve for the better.
DeleteThank you for your nice words, Ric. This is just another thought, if not for it, then I won't have another post! :))
Interesting disquisition, BB!
ReplyDeleteIt seems as if time goes on and on... but does it?
Maybe we are in a warped universe, and the only straight line is the one near us.
Elf, keep telling me that time does not exist, that it is only the perception of 'our fallen nature' (sic) whatever that means!
He is reluctant to explain his statements.
But for us, time gets meddlesome and keeps giving us its pieces of happiness or sadness despite it non-existence.
A very nice and beautiful writing, BB! It makes us think! :)
Thank you, Od, you never fail to make me smile. :)
DeleteIn my mind, time moves on cos there are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which will end up in months and year. And we keep on growing older!
In Fairyland, there is no time cos everything is always young and fresh. Elf is just as cute as he was before, no wrinkles whatsoever! :p
It would be nice if Elf isn't so reserved with his statement.
Yeah, you're right! There are times of both nature - happiness and sadness. It's just that I can't measure time!
Thank you again for your beautiful words, Od. Glad this humble post could make us think. I'm really thinking about it, you know. :))
What an inspiring reminder Balqis! :)
ReplyDeleteWe keep complaining that we have so less of a time. In fact we always have all the time we need. We just tend to not appreciate it.
Thank you, Sui. I like your comments. :)
DeleteI always say that 'time waits for no man, and neither do I'. We must always use our time wisely because we can't get it back. I liked the picture you use, because you can imagine forever moving forward but never getting to the end of time. Nice Post Balqis.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, it is as you said, Rumpunch. Thank you for your comments. :)
DeleteVery well said Balqis! Time moves on and on, let's follow it and enjoy the ride!.. :} You're always an inspiration..:}
ReplyDeleteMiss you friend! Passing by to greet..:}
Thank you so much, Ros. It's been awhile. So glad to see you again!
DeleteMiss you, too. :)
Lovely. yes we always try to enjoy our life :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Aunt Mary. :)
DeleteTime is a test, and we should take it up as a challenge :-)
ReplyDeleteYou're right about it, Amrit. Thank you. :)
DeleteTime...we can't feel it moves, but it flies so fast!
ReplyDeleteCertainly flying without wings! Thank you, Christine. :)
DeleteI do believe Time is a good friend for all of us. When we are on the road we might not see it, but as you say there is always a light shining at the far end. When we get there we understand many things.
ReplyDeleteLovely as always. Stay well Bslqis
Again, I just can't thank you enough for everything, Marie. You're very kind. :)
