I was touched with this post sis..it is reality but what matters most are those happy and lovely memories we will leave behind..that bench is now empty but time will come when two lovers will find that the same spot again..*ringgggggg..quiet angel where are you..I want to sit down there oh..let's have a date* weeeeeee..
I have a melancholic feeling when looking at the quietness of the place. The leaves are the ones that make it beautiful - like companions in quietness. Look at the leaves on the bench as if they replaced the "real persons" sitting on it. I visualized that once they were there and penned down my imagination in haiku.
Thanks a lot, Sie. Surely your quiet angel would love to be there with you. :)
ah...so beautiful and yet so melancholic... imagining the scene two people sitting on the bench and they leaving and all this .... beautifully written :) liked it...
@Muhammad - Personally, I feel it's melancholic and you agree with me. I've explained briefly about it in one of my comments above. I visualized the sweet moment a couple sat on the bench in the park sorrounded by beautiful nature. How romantic it was! But now, the seat is vacant cos the couple had gone to eternity. Together they were once and together they left. A simple story of loving and living for each other.
Thanks a lot for your nice comments. I'm happy cos you liked it. :)
i'm here!! Baker Bee, i heard someone calling me to sit there *blink blink*..can we vandalize that bench with our names?? and and *thinking* can we play hide and seek there? *blink blink*

hi balqis, this is a beautiful and sad one. especially touching if one has a friend in this kind of situation. it just goes to remind us that nothing lasts forever and nobody can have yesterday.
Thank you so much, Aman. A single word means a lot. :)

ReplyDelete@Beanie - You can play hide and seek but don't ever vandalize the bench! You're a good boy, right? :)
ReplyDelete@Sie - Good suggestions for Beanie! Bring as much chocos as you can and sing whole day long. The place is yours! :)
