Thankfulness

I woke up to the sounds of cascading tears of the sky. The soil had been craving for life when the weather was on high fire. The sky must have heard the grievance. Blessed Sunday today; prayers were answered, little buds began sprouting, and wilting grass could stand upright. The dehydrated soil had drunk up much of what it needed most. Energy could be felt everywhere, another cycle of life began.

Life is beautiful!

  1. With all the water rationing woes it was a blessing from the AlMighty! Nicely Balqis! (Hopefully you are not affected, only those in Selangor apparently)

    1. We aren't affected here though the weather wasn't too kind lately. Too dry! At my back yard, trees shed leaves. Glad to see new ones appear due to rain we get lately. It's a blessing indeed, we got heavy downpour this morning.

Thank you for dropping by, Hank. :)

  2. Sometimes whilst we bask in the baking sun hoping that it never ends, we don't realise what's beneath our feet yearning for a little water. It's good to think about the life of other things apart from ourselves. Life is beautiful for sure Balqis.

  3. Life is beautiful indeed Balqis. The sun, the rain, nature in general is good. We should all rejoice in this beauty. Earth needs both to be alive.
Love your words, wise and serene.
