Wannabe

There was once a pretty girl called Lyne,
Who wanted to become a beauty queen,
She groomed herself everyday,
With beautiful flowers in her hair,
A crown in mind made her forget to stay lean.

  3. Maybe I am partial to women, and they are all beautiful!

It does not matter if they lose the track of weight! And if you do not believe me, look to the paintings of masters as Rembrandt, and Rubens.

They knew how to cover the bones of their females on a picture, if not the flesh! :))

Lyne was right, the garland in her mind is the real image. We must revolt against fad styles. And besides if you follow the modern thought you risk to hurt your loved with your bones when hugging him/her! :))

I do agree with you. It doesn't matter what and how, we're all beautiful. And this is just a limerick!

      I follow your drift!! LOL

Thank you so much for your comments. :)

    1. Thank you, Aunt Mary. Life is more fun when there's humor. I read about Limerick, usually it's written with some humor. Just as a reminder (even to myself), this is just for the sake of poetry and not meant to offend anyone. :)

    1. Thank you, Amrit, for liking it. I love limericks and used to laugh reading the humorous lines in them. After all that's what limericks are for. I try composing some and everything mentioned are just for the sake of limerick writing. :)
