On weekends, when I'm home having all the time in the world, I'm always inspired by some little things that happen around me. For instance, when waking up early in the morning, the sounds of early birds which are always chirpy makes me feel so blessed being able to hear the music of nature that is so unique. They sing in a melody so sweet; the meanings known to themselves. They are so care-free; they are so happy!
Nature is always very close to my heart. I open the window of my bedroom and soft morning light gently lands on my skin. It's still very early when everyone else is still snoring in bed. In my little world, I love seeing everything around me. There's a hill near-by and oil palm trees look so soldier-like lining up in straight rows. The lush of green gives some kind of therapy to a tired mind after a whole week of draining the energy for what keeps me alive - work.
The cockerels from the near-by coop are also taking part in the morning's orchestra, producing some kind of energy that boosts me to feel today is another fruitful day. It may not be so but I am already feeling good!
Oh! The morning breeze makes those banana's leaves sway like petite dancers. At the back yard, my rambutan fruit trees are making me proud because they are now bearing lots of rambutans. Rambutans are tropical fruits which are round in shape, the size of a ping pong ball, hairy skins and the flesh is so juicy and sweet, white in color. The skins differ; some are red, some yellow.
How could I not be spell-bound by many things amazing, beautiful and unexplained in my little mind, around my little world? How could I not wish this nature's beauty to last forever? How could I not sigh when the hills near-by are flattened and up goes the steel poles and my heart breaks for my little friends without a place call home?
I wish to hear the birds sing an endless song. I wish those hills to stay majestic. I wish the sun to stay gentle on my skin without biting me hard. I wish the world to stay greener.

ReplyDeleteYes, that's rambutan. It's really yummylicious! The flesh is like longan. I have 2 rambutan trees at the back yard. One bears red skin rambutan, another one yellow. The texture of the one with yellow skin tastes great while the red skin one is very juicy. Both are sweet!
