To The Little One

This is something which I dread to say. It breaks my heart thinking of a pet which I loved most 'left' me so untimely. I have a soft spot for cats and love having them around the house. What saddens me is the passing away of my Siamese kitten (male). It happened two days ago which shocked me seeing it motionless at the front door  as though it was just sleeping. It was such a lovely kitten with white and smokey fur, blue eyes and very playful. Now, I am missing its playfulness, its purrs and above all its presence in the house.  I don't know what magic do pets bring to my life for I feel they play a vital role to fill up my bad days.  There's some kind of soothing feeling when I am able to cuddle them, stroke their furs and hear them purr. Watching them running after each other and around the house always make my day. They give unconditional love without having to judge the person I am.

This is a dedication for my Siamese kitten which now RIP.

I named you, Upa, my Siamese kitten,
Your cottony white and smokey fur,
Hold my eyes in sheer amazement,
Your blue eyes, so lovely they are,
Sometimes starring sharp at me,
When I fail to give due attention.
Your naughtiness makes my day,
You run, climb, scratch and play,
And bite me so very tenderly
but I let you do so, dear baby.

Now.....

It's only a memory when
you left me so untimely,
I lost my sanity thinking
you'd be with me everyday,
You had left for two days and
made me feel my day so grey,
It's so void without your cry,
Saying your name, my lips turn dry,
I pray you're at a place so heavenly,
The happiness of having you will
always be in my loving memory.

*The picture above isn't my kitten but it looked exactly the same.  I have some problems to upload pictures from my camera, so having this picture eases so much of my pain.

Meowing Up With Life

Left for awhile, and LOOK! who raided my laptop?!?

I am really surprised that Eva is so interested in Moonomo's post
                                                "Do You Have A Complaint?"

                                                    Well, she is growing up!

Nemo :  Yes! This is it. My catch of the day!

They Keep Me Busy

One of my friends at bloggers was asking me how have I been doing...well, I was telling her that I've been busy since Friday.  Don't get me wrong, it isn't a complaint...being busy is just normal for  a person who juggles between workplace and home. Earlier, I read a local newspaper and there was one topic that I indulged in. It's about Well-Being and let me quote these two lines, "At work, we think of home. At home, we think of work."  It's undeniable that sometimes, it does happen to some of us and especially to a mom like me. Well, I'm just being thankful that it doesn't drag on the whole day. At certain point, I'm able to snap off my lingering thought of home when I'm at work, and likewise.

What have been keeping me busy? This is the answer!

So adorable!

A pose that's just nice!

About to doze off.

These kittens were given to me by my nephew. They were handed in to me on Friday. Since then, I've been busy taking care of them and going to the pets shop buying all their necessities. My children are cats' lovers, so the arrival of these two brings so much joys to them. We do have grown up cats at home.

I was asking my son for any suitable names for them.  All sorts of names are in his list but haven't decided yet which one to choose. Any suggestion from anyone? :)

By the way, I'd like to share this poem which I got from http://amandashome.com/catspoem.
Here it goes...

What Is A Cat ?

Gentle eyes
that see so much
paws that have
the quiet touch.

Purrs to signal
"all is well"
and show more love
than words can tell.

Graceful movements
touched with pride,
a calming presence
by our side.

A friendship
that will last and grow,
small wonder
why we love them so.

PS. Forgot to mention that one is male, another one female.

Little Tiger In The Garden....

It jumps here and there. It even sprints for a bird at the backyard. Its golden fur can easily be recognised even if it's hiding among the bushes. Its playfulness always make up my day. A little bit 'fierce' cos doesn't seem to be very friendly when sometimes it snarls at me even during feeding time. It only wants to eat but doesn't want to be a friend, sometimes! The hang out place is behind my kitchen. That's where it can smell the food I cook! It will always stay there till I feed it.
This is one of my pets. How wonderful it is looking and admiring at this cute little cat. Looks like a shy little kid or 'malu-malu kucing' but it might be prudent not to scare it because its snarl is enough to make one jumps up! That's why it's called a Little Tiger.
