how saying lives on -
the elders have tasted salt
longer than we do

*This is the saying of my people which literally means elders have gone through so much of  life experiences, thus knowing more than the younger generation.

My participation at Haiku Horizons prompt "Salt".

  3. It's interesting fact that until we experience our-self the salt, or lack of it- we couldn't recognize what elders reminds us many times. :)

That's a great saying, BB- you hold it tightly in your Haiku!
