Let Not The Moment Pass

light of hope cascades
heaven opens all its doors
tarry not the time

tarry not the time
enchantment of the moment
fulfilling the soul

  1. It's certainly not wise to "tarry" during a precious moment, or we might loose its memory completely.

    Wise words.

  5. So good to read your haiku again. You are probably the first person from whom I learnt the delights of haiku.
Hope brings that belief in us which makes us keep looking forward no matter how difficult present might be.
    Beautiful words Balqis!

    1. Thank you so much, Sui, for being supportive. It's a pleasant surprise reading your statement! I love Haiku for its simplicity. I'm still trying to write this form of short poem and to be frank with you, I feel my Haikus still need touches here and there.

Your words are so sweet and they bring smiles to me. :)

  6. There is no moment as this moment... the only one, the only real, the pinpoint that ties us to our Reality.

    Your touch is intact, BB!

    Haiku is YOU! :)

    1. We use to hear the saying "seize the moment". I was fantasizing something heavenly and penned my thoughts.

You're giving me the inspiration to keep going in this journey of creativity. It's like a gift of flowers, so beautiful they are and so are your words and I really appreciate it so much. Now, we have the fair share of ego-booster!

Thank you so much for reading this haiku, Od. Your presence is much appreciated. :)

  8. Beautiful haiku, Balqis. If we don not seize the present moment, the result is a misspent past which cannot be undone.

    1. That's right, Zunnur. What's gone will be gone and what's done can't be undone.

Thanks for your words of appreciation. :)
