"Lord, give me the courage to change the things that can be changed, the serenity to accept things that cannot be changed, and the wisdom to know the difference."
*My special thanks to my lovely friends Dana at Dana's Diary for kindly awarded me with Cherry on Top Award and Izdiher for generously awarded me with the Enchanted blog award.*
How would I know that
today is the last goodbye
between you and I?
Am so grief stricken
upon the sad news of you
leaving forever
Crystals of my eyes
drop so weakly one by one
wishing you would stay
Alas, I'm human
having not a single strength
to fight against fate
I watch silently
you in a beautiful gown
leaving to meet Him
My prayers for you
in my heart, your name engraved
Rest in peace, my dear

**It gives me so much sadness in writing this Haiku as a dedication for my beloved friend who was also a colleague who succumbed to her illness today at 9.30 a.m. She was a real fighter going through the painful times the past eight years. We are of different beliefs but could get along fine with each other. A beautiful young woman who had been a darling to everyone left imprints in my heart.**
**Lately, I'm pretty tied up with work that makes me feel very exhausted at the end of the day. This is another impromptu Haiku. While visiting some blogs, the radio of my cell phone is on and there's this nice song right now by the BackStreet Boys. I'm carried away by the beautiful lyrics and my heart flies so far away....I think I'll hit the sack right after this.**
**A little note to dear Dana. I'd like you to know that I've been visiting your blog but couldn't comment your nice posts.**
