And here I'm alone
between these four walls
recollecting lost ideas
sorting out jumbled words
for I have lost my composure
and my grasp on what letters could do
many times I feel
passion dwells in my heart
creativity lies in my mind
writing is in my dream
yet, when the dry wind blows
all gone, even the tiniest of ideas
leaving a dream remains a dream
And today, still feeling the emptiness
but trying to throw pebbles of thoughts
into the pond of creativity
no ripples.....
stagnant in the shallowness of ideas

Hi Epsita! Thank you for your kind words and especially so when you could relate to my humble write-up. I'm happy to have you here. It's been awhile. This gives me the feeling that I was lost in space!
DeleteWishing you a fabulous weekend! Hugs :)
That's brilliant Balqis! It's been a long time. But you came back with guns blazing. Welcome back! You write great poetry. More is the word, more often, to be here, yes!
ReplyDeleteHank
Thank you, Hank. It's always nice to hear kind words from a friend like you. Will try to write as much as possible. That depends, too, if time permits. Thank you, again. :)
DeleteBtw, Balqis, perhaps you may wish to take a peek at Hank's recent interview with Poets United.

Hank
Thank you, Hank, for letting me know. I did check it out and enjoyed your interview with Sherry. That's great! You revealed more of yourself and all your talents. You're super-talented, I'd should say. I'm really amazed! Keep going! Lots of best wishes from me. :)
DeleteGreatly done, BB- ruffling ideas inside the head which get lost!
ReplyDeleteJust a little cos more ruffling will mess up everything again, don't you think so? :)
DeleteThank you for being here, Omo. :)
